Corporate Actions Analyst recruitment

The job holder will be responsible for following established guidelines and identifying and resolving complex issues. The successful candidate will develop an in-depth understanding of the business function and will be accountable for regular reporting or process administration. 

Knowledge / Skills

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Able to work as part of a team with minimal supervision
• Good organisation skills
• Knowledge of stock and cash reconciliations
• P.C. Literate
• Ability to effectively handle deadlines
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Self motivated and pro-active
• Ability to work overtime and on Bank Holidays as required
• Good time management
• Minimum 2 years Corporate Actions experience

Major Duties

• Monitor notifications from Sub-Custodians and external vendors
• Monitor and process issue via the corporate actions system
• Instruct Sub-Custodians and/or agent of Fund Manager decision
• Effectively and accurately keep clients and fund managers informed of all actions at all times
• Ensure all cash and stock entitlements are fully reconciled and cleared from the system
• Document and reconcile internal relevant suspense accounts
