Corporate Banking Associate- Mandarin Speaking
Leader in international banking requires a Mandarin Speaking Associate to support the Corporate Banking Division and act as a point of contact between the international head office and the UK in order to facilitate service levels and build relationships to generate and maximise revenue.
There is a view to develop and manage a portfolio of international clients in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
You will be a key driver in the development of the existing products for new clients in order to grow client/ business volume.
This will include assisting the Corporate Banking Division with marketing to external clients in the UK and Europe through the provision of meeting preparation.
Coordinate with the international head office to explore the potential business and maximize relationships for international customers, assisting in relationship support work including the preparation of credit applications and credit ratings for Corporate Banking Dept.
You will have specific experience in order to assist, monitor and review facilities and loans after drawdown including the maintenance of efficient diary procedures to monitor covenant checks, timely reviews, waivers, Compliance and legal issues
Essential for the Role
Fluent Mandarin (written and verbal) is essential for the role
Strong understanding of financial aspects of loan markets.
Good understanding of corporate business and trade finance.
Experience in service orientated and customer focused role in financial services sector.
Demonstrable understanding of the international regulatory environment for the selected products and markets.
Sound and proven analytical, credit and risk skills.
