Corporate Finance Director
Covering a variety of sectors in the Irish market, the successful candidate will be advising corporates on domestic and international acquisitions.
Responsibilities:
- Managing a range of corporate client relationships.
- Ability to undertake large transactions
- Undertaking deal leader role and managing transactions
- Preparing detailed business plans
- Ability to scope and create integrated financial forecasts and models
- Ability to comment on financial viability of plans
- Market research and identification of prospective purchasers / vendors
- Structuring and funding transactions
- Playing a key role in identifying and winning new client work through use of own network and building a personal profile on the market.
- Preparing pitch documents
- Managing situations in a way which will optimise financial returns for clients and for the firm.
- Able to identify issues and create solutions
Requirements:
- Ability to demonstrate an extensive depth of technical knowledge
- Fantastic client handling and communication skills generally.
- Skills in leading and facilitating discussions between individuals and groups within a client or the firm.
- 5+ years’ experience working within a corporate finance lead advisory function in practice
- Ability to manage the commercial relationships with clients (agreeing fees, billing, managing budgets and recoveries)
- Creative thinker
- ACA or equivalent ideally with Corporate Finance qualification
- Strong MS Office skills
- Private Equity structured debt experience
