Corporate Finance, In House

We are looking to recruit a Corporate Finance Manager for a major Bank for their Strategy Corporate Finance function. This role will act as a lead advisor and primary point of contact on MA activity within the Group. The mission within Group Strategy is to support the Chief Exec and the Exec Committee in the development of the Group's strategy.

Their objective is to ensure that the Group has the right portfolio of businesses, active in the right markets and supported by the appropriate allocation of capital and other resources.

As a Corporate Finance Manager you will work with other senior colleagues and lead on larger, more complex transactions. Regardless of size you should expect transactions to be technically challenging, involve co-ordination of a number of diverse internal departments and external parties and to be of strategic importance to the Bank.

You must possess extensive in-depth experience of MA transactions gained either in an MA advisory role or within a similar in-house corporate development team.

Ideally you will be a qualified chartered accountant and have specialist knowledge of the financial services sector, although neither is essential if you have particularly strong MA experience. In addition to this they will be looking for someone with a strong academic achievement, technical ability, particularly in relation to valuation and corporate finance issues, have the ability to communicate and influence management, project management experience, operating to tight deadlines, strategic insight and commercial awareness and appreciation of corporate law as it impacts MA work.
