Corporate Hospitality/Event Sales

We are recruiting for a global organisation who are best known within the sporting industry and who are especially dominant within Manchester. This is a really exciting opportunity for the right candidate who is looking to build their experience and gain some recognition for their CV. The organisation are looking for a highly motivated and professional individual to join their corporate hospitality sales department. 

Job Purpose

The purpose of the role is to generate revenue from sales through pro-active outbound sales and new business development. In addition generating incremental revenue streams by cross selling and upselling from the existing customer base

Key responsibilities

· Pro-active outbound sales activity to generate revenue

· Upselling and cross selling of current spending customer

· Increasing seasonal occupancy by converting new and existing customers

· Cold calling customers to increase penetration in North West territory and UK wide

· Delivery of sales from tactical sales campaigns with clear defined targets and metrics. Metrics may include but not limited to:

o Revenue seasonal 
o Conversion percentage
o Leads contacted

· Lead generation including researching and targeting companies and individuals for sales presentations

· Schedule face to face appointments for Business Development Managers and Conference and Events executives.

· Building and maintaining a sales pipeline utilising CRM system to give sight of upcoming business reviewed on a fortnightly basis, accuracy at +/- 5%

· Achieve activity KPIs minimum:

· Providing accurate, clear and precise information to the customer in line with department standards whilst delivering outstanding customer service

Essential Experience

Experience of an inside sales environment either consumer or B2B sales. Consisting of pipeline management and a structured sales approach. Proven success of achieving and over achieving on sales targets.
Strong understanding of a structured sales approach
IT Literate – MS office
A good communicator, in all forms High standard of personal appearance
Strong Account management skills
Entrepreneurial approach to business Ability to work under pressure
Proactive and tenacious approach to selling
Ability to work in a high paced sales environment
Experience in a related sales industry / role
Sales Background in either B2B or B2C role
