Corporate MIS Controller recruitment

Role description:

Reporting and consolidation

-Daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly standard reporting

-Management to financial reporting

-Adhoc reporting and presentation

-Variance analysis

Technology and process

-Improve efficiencies in the reporting process

-Liaising with the Powai team effectively and make sure they deliver reporting in an accurate and timely manner

-Liaising daily with the MIS IT support team to ensure systems are available to users

Planning

-Insure regular Forecasts are prepared in a timely and accurate manner

-Involvement in the yearly budget cycle, liaising with the head-office teams and the local counterparts

-Provide analysis on planning models

Key objectives critical to success:

Ability to work under pressure and deliver accurate and reconciled presentations and reporting

Good communication skills and willingness to develop relationships with finance counterpart and management

Hands-on and ability to learn quickly and by him/herself

Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required

Experience / Qualifications:

-Experience in previous MI Reporting role

-Prior financial services experience would be advantageous

-CIMA/ACA/ACCA qualification desirable

Skills:

-Experience in change management: the ability to add value and implement new processes

-Demonstrate technical competence, creativity and a strong analytical approach to problem solving

-Able to adapt quickly to MIS systems (preferably Essbase and SAP but not essential)

Soft skills

-Able to prioritise workload and operate under pressure, delivering high quality information at short notice without compromising accuracy

-Attention to detail

-Good communication skills

-Confidence around senior management and presenting ideas and opinions for discussion

-Capable of building successful relationships with client groups, including internal finance and senior infrastructure support management plus front office business management

-Able to absorb information/ listen/ negotiate/ influence and feedback appropriately
