Corporate Relationship Director - Aberdeen

We are currently working with global banking organisations that are looking for a new addition to their corporate banking relationship management team. The group are looking for a director to report into the Head of Corporate for the East of Scotland.

The role will work closely with the 90+ corporate clients that the group hold in the East of Scotland and aide the Business Development Director in bringing in new clients.

The package is very competitive.

Key responsibilities:

-You will be responsible for overall relationship of the corporate clients, ensuring that the portfolio is optimised

-At the same time you will also be accountable for the risk and compliance related to the portfolio

-Minimise the Group's exposure to bad and doubtful debt

-You will meet and develop the business and private banking strategy to provide the right client with the right deal

-Work effectively to ensure complex lending and financial dealing are completed seamlessly

-Build strong internal and external networks to benefit the client and develop the portfolio accordingly.

Key experience:

-Significant experience working within corporate or business banking

-Experience of driving revenue growth through the sales team

-Professional qualification in accountancy or banking

-Experience and knowledge of compiling complex corporate offerings including refinances; risk management products and debt offerings.

-Expert knowledge of banking products and services

-Significant experience of structuring complex lending, through working with corporate banks with clients who have £25m + turnover.
