FUNCTION RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Sell the services of Hcareers to new prospects at the senior management level within a specific industry via phone.
* Ensure contact is made with these senior management level decision makers.
* Investigate the hiring cycles of these prospects (number of employees, volume of vacancies, seasonal requirements, etc…) and develop a plan of action to secure their on-line recruitment business.
* Track daily sales progress.
* Utilize sales collateral templates effectively.
* Prospect for new business from competitive job boards and newspapers for the industry, also using the lead generation technology tools available to all sales staff.
* Continue to progress with building a solid business relationship with your clients while introducing new advertising solutions to them.
* Sell the appropriate ad packages to meet the needs of each client.
* Conduct effective prospect site tours over the phone.
* Remain current and proficient with Hcareers product knowledge, pricing, structure, site navigation and database
* Accountable for meeting individual revenue targets in the assigned industry.

 

Job Requirements:

* 2 years minimum sales experience, ideally outbound sales.
* Proven track record in successfully prospecting for new business.
* Educational background in sales related discipline an asset.
* Effective time management skills.
* Experience in advertising, media sales an asset.
* Demonstrates creative ability in approaching markets.
* Comfortable being on the phone most of the day.
* High level of business acumen.
* Ability to comfortably work within a team environment.
* Demonstrate effective utilization of the computer-based sales management tool provided and demonstrated strong computer skills when using the Internet and email.
* Exhibit good communication skills both written and spoken.
