Corporate Tax Advisor
A Big4 Accountancy Practice in Reading are looking to recruit a Tax Advisor to join their Business Tax Advisory team.
In this role you will contribute to the efficient and successful delivery of tax services to the client while also building and maintaining tax relationships with clients and ensuring a high level of client service is provided. In addition, you will build relationships within the firm and externally. As part of this you will identify business development opportunities and manage expectations. You will contribute to winning new work by managing existing clients and assist with the winning of new clients. You will be responsible for managing the successful delivery of tax projects, ensuring technical excellence and that a practical and business driven approach is taken. Day-to-day client liaison and the provision of full tax services to a client portfolio will also be your core responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will be ACA/CA/ACCA/CTA or a Tax Inspector with the full technical training course and will be an experienced corporate tax practitioner. You will have a proven ability to read and interpret existing and new tax statute and the ability to identify areas of risk, carry out review and know when to refer upwards. You will be client focused, commercially aware and be outgoing with good relationship skills. You will be able to deliver quality output and have strong technical skills which you are keen to develop further. In addition, you will have project management skills and be able to plan and prioritise work meet deadlines and monitor your own budget. You will also be able to solve problems creatively and pragmatically.
