Treasury Manager

My client, a FTSE 100 constituent based in London, is recruiting for a Treasury Manager. This job is an excellent opportunity to join a business renowned for getting the very best out of their staff and where high performance is rewarded with opportunities to progress.

Acting as the central bank to the group, the centralised Treasury is responsible for financing and managing the Group's internally generated funds and net external funding requirements. As Treasury Manager you will be involved in defining and executing the Group's external liquidity and debt management. In addition you will take responsibility for the financing strategy and capital structure of Group subsidiaries and EMEA based JV’s.

You will be responsible for identifying and recommending long term funding requirements and funding strategy; then arranging, negotiating and executing the finance arrangements that support your strategy. You will also review the capital structure of subsidiaries and JV’s with the end result being the implementation of value add recommendations for funding, dividend policy and liquidity management. In addition, you will be a touchpoint for treasury advice and support to the EMEA businesses and manage one direct line report.

The successful candidate will be degree educated and hold an additional qualification ideally in Treasury or Corporate Finance, or professional accounting qualifications (MCT, CFA or ACA/CPA). You will have demonstrable experience working within an international corporate treasury and a proven track record in financing in global capital markets and financial markets as well as business unit treasury support. You will have knowledge of financial and commodity markets and the operation and valuation of financial and derivative instruments and advanced financial modelling skills. Candidates are expected to communicate with confidence and persuasiveness, with strong negotiating skills and an ability to influence senior management and external stakeholders.
