Corporate Treasury Business Manager-

A top tier investment bank is seeking a business manager to support the corporate treasury division. Corporate Treasury is responsible for the Funding and Liquidity risk management of the organisation worldwide. The EMEA team is centrally managing from London Funding and Liquidity for all UK and Continental Europe entities (Bank and Non Bank).

Activity extends over 20 different legal entities and 50+ currencies and markets. The EMEA Treasury framework is rapidly evolving following market events.

Working in the Front Office, to support the EMEA Treasurer and Trading desks as we upgrade technology, systems, processes and regional coverage.

Treasury business has many day to day interactions with LOB's and other corporate groups to provide a clear and detailed understanding of Treasury requirements around liquidity and funding risk on any new initiatives.

Priorities:

Focal point for LOB relationships across CIB and Private Bank
Ownership of EMEA Treasury driven NBIA’s
Support of LOB NBIA process for Treasury funding
Support Treasury front office technology agenda
Support Treasury new business development and analysis
Coordination of activities between FO, MO, Liquidity, Operations and Cash Management
Assistance in focus integration and rationalisation across Treasury EMEA + APAC regions and prime point of contact with NY BM team
Clearing activity and central bank relationships
Market side initiatives support (CLS, electronic trading platforms)
Contribution to evolution of new liquidity framework
General MIS score cards, project and business performance analysis

Relationships:

Report to Treasury Senior Manager
Working relationships with FO, MO, Sales, other Treasury desks
Cash Management and Operations
Strong relationship with TSS / WSS / IB and Private Bank
LOB point of contact

Qualifications:

· Technical Skill and knowledge

Good knowledge of financial markets and instruments
Product knowledge, particularly securities, money markets, and payments
Excellent written and communication skills
Teamwork and partnership ethos
Finance background advantageous

· Competencies

Ø Ability to articulate complex issues in a clear and concise manner
Ø Ability to work on multiple projects in parallel
Ø Ability to work with deadline pressures
Ø Ability to work on own and within team framework

· Experience

Ø Background of working within a product or BM background
Ø Good level of knowledge of core bank technology
Ø Good Project Management skills
