Pacific Coast Producers, a leading private label food processor headquartered in Lodi, CA, is seeking a Cost Analyst for its Fruit Processing Facility in Oroville, CA. This non-exempt position provides accounting support by performing the following duties:
- Food production and manufacturing financial reporting, inventory control, maintenance and analysis of product costs, and operation and variance reporting.
- Work with Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel and Access.
- Recognizing and highlighting operational opportunities and initiating projects that provide solutions.
- During the processing season (July -September), incumbent can expect to work a 6-7 day workweek with daily overtime. Off-season, overtime will be limited.
This position will report directly to the Cost Manager, and will work under limited supervision having considerable responsibility for work accuracy and volume. Position requires:
- Three or more years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Understanding and experience with various accounting software and programs/systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- B.S. Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field highly preferred.
- Must have a strong command of Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel Access.
- Highly motivated and results oriented. Ability to communicate cost and financial information to individuals across the company.
- A proven tactical skill set with the ability to see the bigger picture.
