Cost Analyst recruitment
The team are responsible for monitoring, forecasting and reporting spend within each Cost Management Unit. Along with this you will also be responsible for making recommendations and completing month end activities.
Responsibilities
- Prepare financial reports, modelling and analysis on allocated Cost Management Units to agreed monthly timescales
- Challenge assumptions, trends, risk, opportunities and business spend requests
- Review business budgets, provide commentary and provide business review sessions
- Prepare relevant sections of internal finance packs, including commentary and driver reporting
- Review and reconcile balance sheets and accruals
Requirements
- Previous Cost Analyst background is essential
- Extensive knowledge of IFRS is desirable
- Extensive knowledge and experience of reconciliations
- Excellent use of core financial software packages – Excel and Essbase predominantly
- Excellent communication
