Cost Attribution Manager

A Global European Investment Bank is looking for a Cost Attribution Manager to sit with their operations department inLondon.

Role:

Own the creation and delivery of a Cost Attribution model that delivers increased transparency and cost control and supports targeted decision making within Operations.
Ensure all logic is understood and owned by stakeholders in the Operations functions.
Increase the maturity of cost attribution across Operations focused on strengthening the engagement between Operations and Front Office.
Own a Cost Attribution model ensuring stakeholders are accountable for, understand and own the inputs and outputs and the logic used.
Leading all Cost Attribution resource across Shared Services Operations, either through a line or matrix structure.
Responsible for a small team of Cost Attribution specialists who work in conjunction with Business Managers and business aligned Subject Matter Experts to deliver a signed off attribution model for Operations.
Develop and maintain an appropriate framework and toolset that delivers global consistency in cost attribution.

Qualifications

A proven track record for the implementation of Cost Attribution or Cost Allocation models.
Evidence of managing a team to work with stakeholders to define, implement and deliver a robust model that supports decision making.
Excellent understanding of business processes and the ability to translate them into a logical model that leverages revenue and cost drivers to analyse profitability is critical.
Understanding of industry practice and methodologies used in cost allocation including direct and indirect cost relationships and variable cost management.
Strong people management and leadership skills and have had specific experience working in a matrix management model.
High-quality degree level education with a first class academic track record.
A proven record of project management in a highly pressurized environment.
