Cost Centre Manager-IT

An exciting new role has become available for a Cost Centre Manager for the IT division within a well-established media agency in London. The role involves working along side a restructured finance and IT team. The business is FTSE 100 listed and is continuing to grow year on year through numerous acquisitions.

The company is looking for a Qualified Accountant who is confident and has good communication skills. They are friendly, outgoing and highly creative and recruit exceptionally talented individuals into all areas of the business. Finance is regarded as integral to the business and the Cost Centre Manager will work alongside IT and operational teams daily to continue the changes being made within the business.

The responsibilities of the Cost Centre Manager will be the day to day running of the cost centre, along with month end. They will be involved in cost transformation programs to help the company make savings where possible. They will look at risks and PL across the IT function, this will involve partnering with the wider business. There is scope for this role to work with some of the companies smaller suppliers and to look at the software licenses, and be involved in the system transformation along with being involved with the companies ongoing IT transition.

This position will suit a Qualified Accountant who has previous experience in an IT business. The ideal candidate will have held a similar position within a cost centre as a manager. Candidates must have outstanding communication skills and enjoy working in a team environment. They must have good time management skills and be self-motivated. The IT Cost Centre Manager will work closely with many teams in the business and so the ability to build relationships is crucial.
