Cost Finance Manager
My client, an established banking organisation in the City, is looking to recruit a Cost Finance Business Partner to support and enhance its central cost management reporting function across multiple business lines on a permanent basis.
Working within a newly established Central Finance team, your key accountabilities will include:
· Delivering insightful and value-add cost MI to the senior cost management leads
· Performing interrogation of monthly cost allocations across multiple categories and ensuring correct recharging
· Reporting on direct and indirect costs, analysing variances and communicating cost performance to key stakeholders
· Maintaining vigorous cost reporting processes and scoping out improvements in controls where necessary
· Assisting with the financial planning, budgeting and forecasting process; conducting evaluations of management information quality
· Supporting the wider Central Finance team in any ad hoc reporting requirements as necessary, as well as driving forward new processes and procedures surrounding cost management
Key requirements:
· A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
· Significant experience in a cost management role within financial services or industry, with a solid track record of investigating variances and delivering high level MI
· Excellent senior stakeholder and relationship management skills
· Advanced Excel and robust knowledge of other finance systems
· Ability to influence and challenge
