Country Compliance Manager

Develop and implement a comprehensive, effective and efficient compliance program that supports and fulfils compliance requirements of BSA, AML Law /regulations, USA PATRIOT Act, US Sanctions Laws, Regulation GG, and other applicable Federal and State laws regulations. 

  1. Oversee implementation of and adherence to the                                                              applicable laws, rules regulations and changes therein.  
  2. Oversee implementation of AML/OFAC procedures to detect unusual / suspicious activities.
  3. Maintain liaison with regulators, external auditors, legal counsel and other regulatory bodies on the matters concerning compliance.
  4. Review and approve new and/or changed product programs, policies procedures to ensure adequate coverage of compliance requirements.
  5. Increase compliance awareness of the management and staff through targeted reviews,  presentations, meetings and active support for actual / potential compliance issues.
  6. Oversee provision of compliance training in a focused and consistent manner and in accordance with the organizational standards.
  7. Provide proactive and consultative advisory service to staff on compliance related issues.
  8. Supervise corrective action on compliance related exceptions arising from regulatory inspections, internal and external audits.
  9. Ensure ongoing assessment and management of compliance risks emanating from legal / regulatory pronouncements, changes in the operating environment, new information systems, new products or services, corporate restructuring, or foreign  operations.
  10. Provide specialized support/advice to bank staff in day-to-day matters concerning  compliance.
