Country Talent Manager, Singapore recruitment
Key Reponsibilities
Talent Development
- Provides counsel to business leaders on talent development strategy to support Bank priority on Massively Multiply Leadership Capability.
- Provides specialist consultation to business stakeholders to design and deliver tailored talent development interventions to drive the Country Talent Agenda e.g. Singapore Exceptional Talents.
- Managing global and local talent development solutions for talent pools across businesses and support functions. (H3 and H4s).
- Works with HRRMs, Centre of Expertise, and Talent Acquisition to provide the most effective development engagement programmes for Global and Local talent pools e.g. Hipo, IGs, Fast Track, and MBAs.
- Works with line managers, HRRMs and high potentials to assess development needs, performing gap analysis, designing and leading programs that build people management and leadership skills and capabilities.
- Aligns StanChart talent strategy with group initiative and world-class practices.
Succession Planning
- Advice and support development of Successors (Manco ‘One-downs’ group) and ensure progress is made on development plans.
- Work with Line Managers and HRRMs to ensure readiness of high potentials to increase benchstrengths.
- Support People Forum requirements for country EXCO.
Graduate programme management
- Coordinate the IG, Local graduate, and MBA programme at country level
- Work with HRRM and Graduate sponsors to set quality rotations which provides great learning experience.
- Support the development of IGs and Local Graduates, through Group and locally-designed interventions.
- Build a sense of pride and passion on the programmes.
- Support the TM team to ensure global standards are met.
Business-aligned role [WB, CB, GTO or Support – according to strengths and business need]
- Single-Point of Contact (SPOC) to one or more businesses - engages the business on the Learning and Talent agenda in partnership with HRRM.
- Partners with and supports their business HRRM counterpart in driving the Learning and Talent portion of the People Agenda eg accompanies HRRMs to key stakeholder meetings to give input on talent development.
- Continually reviews the effectiveness of the HRRM partnership, making changes to ways of working and accountabilities as required.
- Provides country-specific feedback to the Group Business LTD team to help them ensure products are practical, relevant, value-adding and timely
- Supports rollout of Group Business programmes, as appropriate (when this cannot be migrated to SSC). [Note that for CB, this accountability rests with CBA]
- Engages, coaches and coordinates country business presenters (according to programme requirements) eg WB Ready.
