Credit Administration Officer
You will prepare credit/ security documentation and ensure the approved terms of the credit proposals are accurately reflected in the credit/ security documentation. Liaising with external parties, such as solicitors, valuers and insurers for mortgage matters, you will ensure timely completion of transactions. You will also liaise with lawyers and Relationship Managers on matters relating to mortgages and redemptions.
You will work with insurers and Relationship Managers on expiring fire policies; with valuers and RMs on annual valuations; with internal parties, such as the Legal department, Relationship Manager/ Marketing Assistant and Risk Department to ensure the timely completion of documentation.
You will check the duly executed security documentation/ conditions and ensure they are in order before limit input. You will assist with the system implementation and maintenance of facility limits, interest rates, risk ratings, risk groupings.
You will assist RMs to conduct corporate searches to ensure the timely completion of credit/ security documentation and will maintain custody of credit files for the department and maintain copies of the executed credit documents electronically. You will participate in projects related to credit administration for the Wealth Management business.
Pre-requisites:
- University graduate in any discipline
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in Credit Administration or Credit Control
- Possess a good foundation in credit and a keen awareness of risk issues
- Highly responsive to business needs without compromising on risk management requirements
