Credit Analyst – Vice President – Leading European Corporate and Investment Bank recruitment

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Credit Analyst will be responsible for proposing ratings, participating in due diligence meetings for NBFI’s, manage relationships and anticipate requests and guide risk taking. The jobholder will regularly update files, actively monitor research, anticipate the evolution of risk and ensure the smooth operation of the workflow and bookings.

The successful candidate will be a degree holder with at least 7 years experience in risk management, ideally in a Financial Institution Credit Analysis role. Applicants will need a solid understanding of technical financial and regulatory accounting, good knowledge of economic and financial data and a sound understanding of complex market transactions, scenario and risk assessment models. Candidate will need to demonstrate a solid understanding of counterparty risk, market, reputational, legal and operational risk and basic legal knowledge in particular contracts of market transactions. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Candidates with less experience may be considered for an AVP level role.
