Credit Analyst
Our client is a large US credit fund with an excellent track record, which invests predominantly in high yield securities, but also opportunistically in equity, distressed debt and other asset classes opportunistically.
Working as part of a global team of credit analysts, you will be responsible for covering a number of sectors on a European basis. The firm's structure gives analysts a high level of exposure and a broad remit, therefore the right candidate will have a high level of numerical aptitude in order to become involved in portfolio management discussions.
Candidates should have a strong analytical background from a sell side environment, including MA, leveraged finance / high yield, capital markets, equity or credit research. Alternatively candidates may have started out on the buy side in a demanding analytical role.
Key requirements for this position:
* Strong academic background
* Excellent numerical ability
* Ability to think laterally and consider problems from a number of angles
* Strong communication skills
