Credit Analyst
The Role
We expect the primary responsibilities of the person filling this position will include:
- Monitor and manage credit risks associated with a portfolio of Financial Institutions and Central Counterparties in the EMEA region, focusing on Fixed Income products.
- Interacting with Sales Trading for purposes of responding to trading requests and general support in delivering credit/risk management support.
- On-going sector/portfolio coverage including generating periodic reviews and other reporting / regulatory related materials
The Candidate
Candidates will be at Associate / Vice President level, and will sit within the EMEA Fixed Income Coverage team. The successful candidate will have the following characteristics:
- Strong analytical skills, particularly related to fundamental research for Financial Institutions and/or Central Counterparties.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills; quantitative orientation; ability to manage dynamic priorities.
- Experience in traded products and the credit approval process. The candidate should be familiar with dealing with traders, sales coverage, derivative documentation and a general familiarity with the back office functions. Some exposure to lending would be beneficial.
- Working knowledge in a foreign language would be an advantage
