Financial Institutions Credit Risk
Summary
Our client a renowned Investment Bank are looking for an experienced Financial Institutions Credit Risk professional at either an AVP or VP level. The successful candidate will deal mainly with Fixed Income products.
Primary Responsibilities
- Work closely with the front office in management and analysis of a portfolio of Financial Institution (Banks) counterparts
- Conduct research on transactions from both the trading and lending book
- Assign credit ratings on a designated portfolio of counterparts, recommending where relevant to credit committee
- Conduct industry wide research
- Monitor credit limits of the Fixed Income portfolio
Knowledge
- Experience as a Credit Risk professional, analysing FI (Banks) counterparts
- Fixed Income product experience
- Experience of both lending and traded products
- Versed in dealing with front office, and completing relevant documentation
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
