Credit Analyst | Associate
This an excellent opportunity for a driven and successful candidate to launch their career within the asset management industry with a market leading team, focused on Investment Grade and High Yield Corporate Debt. The HK team focus across the Asia-Pacific region and are currently interested in candidates with specific knowledge of the China markets.
The Fixed Income Analyst will be responsible for developing reports and investment ideas on the Asia Pacific fixed income markets; analysing market data, conducting statistical analyses and developing Investment proposals for the Global Team. The analyst will also contribute to the Sales Marketing functions, and my client is therefore looking for a candidate that is interested in gaining a broad set of skills.
Main Responsibilities
- Contribute to the integral fixed income research effort that directly supports the PM's, with a specific responsibility to be the firm leader on Chinese HY debt.
- Develop investment proposals derived from the macro research, company analysis, broad market data and by developing a wide range of market connections
- Develop and maintain forecasting and investment analysis database, through working closely with PM's on daily functions
- Assist with Senior Management and Sales team with client interaction
Key Requirements
- At least 3 years experience within Fixed Income research with a specific focus on Investment Grade or High Yield Corporate Debt
- University educated with a degree in either Economics, Finance, Mathematics or Engineering
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Mandarin
are required as a number of the clients the firm deals with are within Mainland China - Strong Analytical/Problem solving skills
