Excellent opportunity for a VP - PFI/PPP Infrastructure Originator for a leading European Corporate Bank in London - City
Principally an originator and executor of senior debt mandates across PFI/PPP Infrastructure in the UK, Benelux and Germany. Other jurisdictions maybe considered. Origination and execution experience of Renewable projects in the UK is a pre. The core objective and purpose of the role is one of fee generation and loan production.
The role:
o Reporting to the Managing Director and UK Team Head.
o Responsible for deal origination and execution of of senior debt mandates across PFI/PPP Infrastructure in the UK, Benelux and Germany. This will include reviewing legal, technical and financial due diligence and liaising with advisors where appropriate.
o Attendance at client and advisor meetings to progress due diligence, assistance on client bidding work and ultimately deal execution.
o Occasionally required to work late/long hours when demanded by clients/deal closings.
o Preparation of internal documents such as project summaries, credit applications, business opportunities and other internal communication.
o Reviewing financial models, sensitivity analysis and liaising with financial advisors/model auditors.
o Completing internal system requirements for closing new transactions such as Know Your Customer procedures, internal rating tools, Risk Adjusted Return models etc.
o Assisting Portfolio Management team on closed transactions where required for detailed waiver requests and credit reviews.
The person:
o Proven transaction origination and execution capability of PFI/PPP Infrastructure transactions in the UK, Benelux and/or Germany
o Ability to lead transactions to successful closure with a reasonable level of supervision/guidance from seniors
o Capable and willing to be involved in marketing/pitching opportunities with clients. Our client is looking for someone with a strong marketing personality and a strong network of existing contacts
o Capable of working with colleagues and managing junior staff
