Credit Analyst – Commodities recruitment
Our client, a premier global commodity trading house, is looking to hire a Credit Analyst to join their expanding dedicated credit analysis team based in Geneva.
Successful candidates will possess a minimum of two years of relevant experience at an oil major, commodities trading house or top tier banking institution with a significant presence in the commodity markets. Individuals should have developed excellent credit analysis and commodity sector specific research skills as well as having gained exposure to a number of commodity and trade finance transactions.
Key responsibilities will include industry sector analysis work across the oil, gas and power sectors as well as metals and agriculturals to a lesser extent. Also, you will be expected to work closely with the more senior members of the team on client specific research and analysis work.
Exceptional communication skills, an ambitious and hardworking attitude, the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team and a genuine enthusiasm for the commodities sector are all essential. Successful applicants will require a good level of quantitative skills, including basic modelling expertise (balance sheet, cash flow and P/L projection, etc.) and at least undergraduate degree level qualifications.
