KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Annual credit reviews (for the US-based team)
- Liaise with other India-based credit risk teams to ensure standardised output
- Ensure Counterparty data Credit limits are maintained to reflect credit appetite
- Work with the US-based credit function to ensure a high level of service
- Develop IT-based solutions for annual review process workflows and grading models
- Contribute to the development of designated members of the India Credit Risk team
- Input into formulation of credit policy
ESSENTIAL SKILLS EXPERIENCE:
- 3-6yrs experience of credit assessment, specifically covering Bank Financial Institutions (ideally US)
- Broad knowledge of Rating and Recovery models
- Well-developed judgement in the field of credit risk management and analysis
- Experience of counterparty financial analysis for Banks (essential) Funds (desirable)
- Knowledge of credit markets and economic conditions covered by the team’s portfolio
DESIRABLE SKILLS:
- Working knowledge of a broad range of Capital Markets and Loan products
- Educated to degree level or equivalent professional qualification
- Language skills: fluent in English
