Credit and Collections Analyst (m/f)
Our client now employs around 150 people and has headquarters in the USA and Zurich. Its co-founders started the company about 10 years ago to take a different approach to online travel.
Your new duties and responsibilities
- You will handle the collections of the past due Accounts Receivable balances.
- You will work to prioritize contact with bad debtors and provide Senior Management with weekly updates of the progress.
- You will manage the collection efforts for the company’s accounts receivable with balances past due.
- You will research account disputes and billing discrepancies.
- You will respond to credit inquiries from customers.
- You will identify delinquent accounts requiring external collection efforts.
- You will send statements and invoices to customers if needed.
- You will work closely with team members to achieve specific measurable results.
- You will develop a credit policy for new customers and analyse and assess the creditworthiness of customers using external credit risk management tools/reports.
Your profile
- Degree in Accounting / Finance
- Minimum of 2 years of working experience
- Fluent in both German and English
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Ability to set and follow procedure
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills, as well as strong negotiation skills
- Good organization and follow-up required
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in collections and credit analysis preferred
