Credit and Research Manager
The successful candidate will have a demonstrative Credit and Research background within the banking industry and have the ability to interpret cash flow, balance sheet, PL, and process lending.
The main responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, identifying major risks and monitoring developments of specific sectors/customers, and reporting any risks to senior management. You will plan all tasks relating to credit; these include inspections, arrangement of training, credit policy, and official meeting materials. You will carry out regular and ad hoc credit reviews and industry/corporate analysis and also assess internal ratings, and assist other relevant divisions to achieve/process projects and deals successfully.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for credit monitoring, rating reviews, portfolio management, and liaising with the relevant internal contacts.
To be successful, you will have previous demonstrable credit analysis and corporate/industrial research background within a similar environment, and possesses outstanding numerical and analytical skills with strong attention to detail. Due to the nature of the business, fluency in both English and Japanese is a prerequisite to this role.
