Credit and Risk Manager
My client, an International Limited Company is currently recruiting for a Credit and Risk Manager to oversee the whole risk, credit and collections activities for UK and European businesses.
The Credit and Risk Manager is responsible for ensuring minimal bad debts and losses as well as improving cash-flow and reporting and will be accountable for: Minimising risks and write-offs for businesses, maximising cash collections and improving cash flow by reducing A/R days, monitoring all creditor exposures across the region, development, implementation and enforcement of the credit policy, implementation of debt metrics, A/R days and exposures producing MIS to help analyse high risk countries/regions to provide input into payment plans, working with the external collections agency for aged debt and internal or external legal advisers for other debts.
The successful candidate will have a strong drive for results as well as having very good managerial skills and the ability to motivate others.
A recognised Accounting and/or Credit qualification is desired as well as experience in credit and collections management within a broader background with experience not limited to credit.
