Job Details
We are searching for an experienced Credit Collections Manager to manage the credit and collection activities of a designated major part of the credit organization in accordance with established policies, practices, and procedures in a manner that will result in maximized sales, sound receivables, and their prompt conversion to cash.
Responsibilities:
- Review assembled files and reports, analyze financial statements and supplementary information for new customers. Make credit line decisions as per credit policy and seek approval for amounts exceeding approval threshold.
- Conduct regular review of existing customer accounts credit lines to minimize risk.
- Prepare special credit reports (collect, analyze, summarize account history and trend information).
- Obtain concurrence of Director on the acceptance of notes, settlements, time extension and writing off of uncollectible accounts.
- Approval and release of Purchase Orders / Sales Orders.
- Responsible for a portfolio of accounts: collection, cash flow, DSO.
- Determine action to be taken on delinquent accounts.
- Prepare and submit periodic operating reports to Director on the status of account portfolio.
- Audit and reconcile unauthorized deductions related to invoicing, product returns, price protection, and co-ops etc. Negotiate settlements with account finance manager or buyer where appropriate.
- Communicate and establish relationships with Customer, Sales Team, and Operations ensuring resolution of customer issues and improving “Best Practices”.
- Oversee department SOX compliance

- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
- 8+ years in Credit Collections.
- Full command of financial statement analysis.
- Proven reconciliation skills.
- Time management, organization, analytical ability, attention to detail.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Oracle 11.i preferred.
