Credit Control Team Supervisor

The Credit Control Team Leader will be accountable for developing effective relationships with external customers, raising the credit profile by providing guidance and support to internal customers to support company growth as well as prioritising workload to achieve agreed targets.
This job will also be responsible for being vigilant of the bad debt and for escalating where appropriate, be the first point of escalation internally and externally and autonomously manage your team. You will ensure queries are appropriately managed and set objectives and have regular 1-2-1s with team members to ensure they are fully supported and managed. You will also conduct their appraisals on an annual basis.
This Team Leader role will also be required to provide weekly and monthly reports demonstrating their position in relation to targets along with any other ad hoc requests.

In order to undertake this role successfully you will have good experience working in a management/ supervisory role, be highly motivated and be able to develop effective working relationships with customers and colleagues. The team Leader will be required to work under pressure and to tight deadlines whilst being commercially aware, working in a team as well as on their own initiative and will require a positive attitude to change. This role also requires a good level of Excel.
