Credit Controller
Credit Controller, West London, 12 Month Contract
Our client is a global player within the FMCG Sector and are currently looking for an exceptional Credit Controller to join their team.
The role is slightly different from a normal collections role as you will be dealing with large blue chip clients and duties will be based around solving queries and building relationships with your clients.
Ideally you will be someone who has at least 1-2 years Credit Control experience and will be working towards or looking to study towards an ICM qualification, with a view to establish a career in Credit.
Duties
-Accurately allocate payments against outstanding sales ledger transactions taking account of discount claimed by the customer and the payment terms.
-Investigate and rectify all short/overpayments, if necessary by direct contact with the customer or his representative.
-Identify overdue transactions on customer accounts and obtain early payment of these by direct contact with the customer and possible assistance of the sales teams
-Identify at an early date errors in invoices, speedily resolve claims with the assistance of the sales, sites or distribution teams.
Requirements
-2 years Credit Control experience
-Ideally have experience working with a FMCG environment
-Strong systems skills including SAP and Excel (Intermediate to Advanced)
-Organised and self motivated with excellent communications skills
