Credit Correlation & Exotics Product Control – Analyst recruitment

Product Control has a critical role within the organisation. There is a close working relationship with the trading desks and other areas focusing on control, service and reporting. We are a central point of contact for many issues that affect the bank including new product approval, model validation and independent verification of derivative valuations. By placing a heavy emphasis on information technology and focusing on project work we are able to address control and operational risks and meet our internal and external obligations
The Credit Correlation Exotics PC team supports the Global Correlation Exotics trading desk, with trading operations in London, New York and Hong Kong.
The role will report to the Line Manager in charge of the Credit Correlation Exotics PC team business as part of a team of 10 covering the daily PL and Balance Sheet control roles for this business.
Skills / Experience required:
- Strong/numerate degree
- ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified
- Prior product control, valuation or audit experience with Fixed Income, Credit or Correlation products
- Experienced driving initiatives directly with business and senior management directly
- Ability to work closely and confidently with FO
- A strong communicator who can direct business initiatives
- Strong understanding of controls
- Strong financial awareness
