Credit Desk Analyst – Investment Bank
A leading Investment Bank is currently looking to add to its Fixed Income Group for a desk analyst role that will be focused on credit and fixed income research for the trading and sales team across the Fixed income space. This is a new role to sit on the trading desk with the Traders to provide deep credit/fixed income research across all industries
Your responsibilities and experience will include
· To provide research coverage on a selection of European credits
· To respond rapidly to ad hoc enquiries on issuers and ratings from other departments and their clients, producing brief research notes where necessary;
· Provide up to date research for senior traders and sales professionals across the platform
Candidates should posses the following characteristics:
· Techniques for analysing businesses and financial statements from the perspective of fixed income credit;
· Report writing skills;
· Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets and other relevant PC applications, particularly information retrieval systems.
There is an excellent salary package on offer and the real possibility of moving into a PM role. All applicants must be London based.
+ candidates with an additional European language skill will be highly regarded, but this is not essential! +
