With representation spanning 17 African nations and 13 countries outside of Africa, this client is Africa’s largest bank by assets. The Corporate Investment Banking division offers clients banking, trading, investment, risk management and advisory services to connect selected emerging markets to Africa and to each other.As part of a review of the bank’s Credit Exposure function and the pursuit of IMM compliance, a new team based out of Johannesburg is to be created. These critical hires will include Team Heads as well as senior/junior Quantitative Analysts across the following areas:

• Calibration, stress testing and back testing

• Change-the-Bank methods

• Run-the-Bank methods

• Business Analysis

The bank seeks candidates with varying levels of experience up to senior management level with quantitative skills, in particular stochastic calculus and statistics. It is anticipatedthat you will have at least 2 years in a counterparty risk modelling role, be educated to Masters level in amathematical subject and possess strong programming skills (C#, C++, VBA or Matlab)
