Position Description:
The Credit Middle Office team plays a pivotal role in supporting Morgan Stanley's Credit Risk Management Department in credit risk analysis and limits monitoring. The team is also responsible for credit data management, credit policy/procedure implementation, portfolio and single name monitoring (credit limits monitoring/reporting/escalation), and process change management.

The Credit Middle Office team is currently seeking a strong candidate as Vice President to join the team based in New York. The candidate must have strong business knowledge, strong technical skills, strong process management skills, and must be able to develop strong working relationship as he/she will work closely with several other areas (such as Business Unit, Controller and IT).

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
1) Providing support to credit professionals to efficiently manage credit risk
2) Implementing credit policy and procedures
3) Initiating and managing data control projects across departments
4) Analyzing and monitoring Morgan Stanley's credit exposure limits
5) Developing and Implementing data quality control processes, monitoring credit data quality and identifying credit data quality issues and solutions

Skills Required:
1) 5-10 years of experience in risk management or operations involving data analysis and process management
2) Strong presentation skills
3) Experience in project management
4) Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
5) In-depth knowledge with financial products including fixed income, equity, and other traded securities
6) Self motivator and team player with strong interpersonal skills
7) Undergraduate degree in Finance, Computer Science, or Engineering related areas
8) Ability to manage dynamic priorities with attention to details
9) Ability to meet deadlines and deliver quality work in a fast-paced environment

Skills Desired:
1) Experience in credit risk management and/or credit middle office
2) Experience in system design/development
3) Proficiency with VBA, and SQL
