Credit Quality Review – AVP/VP level recruitment
In this role, you will undertake reviews of assets providing opinions on ratings validity/any recommended changes, credit underwriting, CAF compliance, sector cluster, policy compliance and policy performance. In terms of background, the bank is looking for broadly experienced candidates, who have spend time in credit analysis/sanctioning and ideally policy/review.
Responsibilities:
• Undertake independent financial assessment of individual counterparties producing well-balanced opinions together with appraisals of ratings validity/any recommended changes.
• Provide an independent assessment on the quality of credit underwriting decisions and more general opinions on sectors, trends etc.
• Undertake various ad hoc reviews with deliverables dependent on the particular nature of the review, for example: special investigations, reviews on CAF compliance, policy compliance, policy performance etc.
• Undertake and/or oversee the completion of Report on Findings ensuring that material issues are escalated as appropriate.
• Build strong relationships internally with various departments.
Experience required;
• Credit underwriting experience required.
• Good experience of corporate banking processes, policy and procedures.
• Experience of ratings processes.
• Ability to see the "bigger picture".
• Ability to work to deadlines either in a Team or on own initiative.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills with ability to discuss findings with senior Credit staff.
• Good report writing skills.
