CREDIT RESEARCH, SENIOR MANAGER

As a result, our client is committed to protecting their future and money by implementing strong risk frameworks as well as coherent and thorough credit monitoring of portfolios both internally and externally, throughout their business. Subsequently, the Credit Research team is now looking for an experienced Senior Manager, to support non-Asian issuers and counterparties for the group.
Within this leading insurance brand, reporting directly to the Regional Director of Credit Research you will be responsible for the vigorous monitoring of credit quality for all non-Asian issuers (predominantly the Middle East) to alert the relevant investment management members and teams, of potential credit impairments to recommend sell or hold actions. You will monitor and recommend all credit limits for non-Asian corporate issuers and perform on-going analysis of financial performance of issuers through various form of financial statements, public information, company calls and market intelligence.
There will also be opportunities to look at project finance transactions in the market.
To ensure a successful application for this dynamic role, you will be experienced in credit research, preferably in a multinational bank or financial institution within the past 8 years.
Ideally you will have managed credit exposures of non-Asian corporate, in particular Middle Eastern credits. Moreover you will have experience in conclusion led and risk focused credit risk assessment, as well as regulatory framework/documentation requirements. You will have fluency in English speaking and writing to produce regular committee reports and flawless presentation skills.
Ideal candidates will have a technical qualifications (or be a degree holder) in business, finance or related disciplines. Accounting or CFA qualifications are an advantage.
