Credit Risk – Vice President – Bulge Bracket Investment Bank recruitment
The Credit Risk Vice President will be responsible for performing all credit due diligence and analysis of Financial Institution (FI) counterparties ranging from banking, broker dealers, insurance companies, hedge funds, private equity funds, mutual funds, SPV’s, sovereign and sovereign related entities. The incumbent will work closely with different business units in identifying and developing alternative transaction structures and credit risk mitigation solutions and will review, approve (within delegated authority) or recommend for approval credit risk-related transactions originating from FI counterparties. The jobholder will also be responsible for negotiating credit documentation relating to derivatives transactions and conduct industry and sovereign research.
The successful candidate will be a degree holder in Business Administration, Finance, Mathematics or Economics, those with MBS or CFA qualifications are preferred. Applicants will need to have at least 8 years credit experience covering Asia Pacific FI’s and prior exposure to debt and fixed income markets and products is essential. Candidates will need to possess sounds credit research skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong relationship building skills and have a willingness to travel.
