Credit Risk Analyst, Credit Cards
To design and implement credit management strategies that will enable Bank business across Personal Loan, Credit Card and Personal Current Account portfolios to control lending risk, deliver sustainable growth and meet customer needs
The Senior Credit Risk Analyst will be required to perform the following:
- Provide detailed insight on Retail Credit Risk performance of portfolios to senior risk managers and key stakeholders to support the strategic plan.
- Provide weekly impairment monitoring and reporting on significant variances against plan, across personal current account and credit card portfolios.
- Provide insights on risk appetite for Retail Credit Risk across credit card and personal current account portfolios.
- Support the Senior Manager Collections Recoveries strategy in the maintenance and development of the Arrears Policies for unsecured portfolios.
- Support the development of policies that provide effective and efficient application of credit policy, risk appetite, credit governance and applicable regulation - legislation.
- Identify aspects of arrears governance, policy and accountabilities that are not supported by an appropriate framework or key processes and raise action plans to senior manager.
- Support the Head of CR function in the continued design and development of control reporting within collections and recoveries, covering all aspects of controls including system, agent, and strategy-policy implementation.
