Analyst Debt Investor Relations
An Analyst, Associate Director, is required to support Head of Debt Investor Relations (IR)in delivering Debt investor-analyst engagement and providing internal expertise on Group liabilities.
The successful candidate will be required to support Director Debt Investor Relations in:
- Planning and preparing for annual non deal specific roadshow schedule in liaison with Treasury DCM-Syndicate-Debt roadshow teams in and in co-ordination with Equity roadshow teams;
- Liaison with Treasury on deal specific roadshow programme;
- Draft tailored debt investor presentations for investor meetings and in connection with Barclays quarterly financial reporting;
- Develop and maintain up to date Q A materials relating to capital, liquidity funding;
- Prepare tailored analysis-MI on Barclays cash and synthetic credit spreads (stand-alone and relative to peers);
- Ad hoc peer analysis on items relating to Group liabilities;
- Attend meetings with market participants (e.g. analysts, portfolio managers, rating agencies etc) in support of Barclays executive management;
- Effectively handle detailed queries from market participants (including investors, analysts and rating agencies).
- Support all Investor Relations activities and support Head of IR and IR Directors in meetings with market participants, principally analysts and investors.
- Possess a strong understanding of international capital markets and of corporate finance principles;
