Credit Risk Analyst Level IV

? Review and decision credit, income, asset and property documentation on designated loans for compliance with PHH and investor guidelines and clearing conditions as applicable.
? Demonstrate the ability to review/decision loans that are designated as higher risk and/or high priority
? Identify and work through alternatives for loans that fall outside of guidelines. Demonstrate the ability to translate underwriting guidelines with application of mitigating factors, when applicable, to ensure proper salability to investors.
? Communicate both in writing and orally with third party stakeholders and clients as needed.
? Review low risk flags from data alerts to clear variances.
? Update processing system with appropriate conditions.
? Consistently meet established productivity and quality measurements on a consistent basis
? Perform other duties within CRM, as needed

Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelors Degree or equivalent business experience preferred. Minimum of 2 years experience in an Underwriting role with a minimum of 4 years in the mortgage industry required. Strong knowledge of FHA and VA programs and guidelines and fully accredited in FHA and VA underwriting (LAPP, DE, VA Automatic) required for Government Underwriting, otherwise preferred. Strong customer service skills, excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Proven interpersonal skills, ability to interact with other departments and vendors in a professional manner. Demonstrated knowledge and expertise with secondary marketing underwriting guidelines and products inclusive of GSE, Jumbo, and non-conforming. Non-prime knowledge a plus. Experience with income analysis for qualifying self-employed borrowers. Familiarity with income tax documentation including but not limited to sole proprietorships, S-corps, C-corps, partnerships, limited liability corporations, and the SAM form is required. Candidates must demonstrate strong analytical skills and decision-making ability in order to make lending decisions and translate guidelines. Candidates must be detail-oriented, organized and possess strong problem solving skills with the ability to make quick accurate decision with limited information. Candidates should be open to flexible scheduling options and the ability to adapt/change as needed. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel required with industry related originating and/or processing software preferred. Must demonstrate proficiency in finding creative financing solutions on challenging loans. Effective prioritization skills along with demonstrating successful multi tasking abilities.
