Credit Risk Analyst/Manager- Project Finance/restructuring (Italian speaking)

Overview

A global financial services provider is seeking a Italian speaking credit risk analyst/manager to with restructuring experience. The role involves managing the European portfolio across industry from renewable energy to syndicate loans. This is an initial 3-6 months

Core Responsibilities:

Management of NPL cases including, but not limited to: i) financial due diligence (such as commenting on restructuring plans, liquidation values, future trends in support of necessary provisioning and recovery values, strengthening of the security position of the EAA, reduction of exposure through repayment, selling of and/or buying protection for assets, fresh money needs etc.); ii) commercial due diligence, such as attending meetings, and reviewing and commenting on commercial DD reports; iii) reviewing the Term Sheets and documentation for restructurings; iv) attend internal committees/meetings which are necessary

•Preparing with the workout team the Vote for approval requests as appropriate
•Valuation of business or asset along with all collateral views
•Documented negotiation strategies and tactics
•Surveillance strategy to monitor key value or other drivers impacting likely recovery
•Negotiation with all external and internal parties to achieve the maximum recovery in restructurings, workouts and insolvency cases
•Timely release of monthly reporting in the watchlist; maintaining workout files in good order (i.e. in accordance with internal regulations)
•Liaise with different bank and EAA departments
•Ensuring that all internal and external audit requirements are satisfied
•Managing, directing, supporting individual deal teams with a view to optimising results
Skills and Competencies [Key skills, competencies and attributes required for success]:
•Strong interpersonal and negotiating skills to handle clients, bankers, advisors, lawyers etc.
•Strong communications skills – both written and oral. Ability to represent the business and articulate, negotiate and implement decisions, strategies and documentation at the highest level
•Strong credit skills and experience
•Strong document writing capabilities
•Ability to structure, negotiate and implement corporate operational and financial restructurings
•Sound understanding of debt and equity instruments and their relative markets
•PC literate and proficient in standard software
•Good knowledge of international legal systems/documentation, economics / accounting standards
•Knowledge of corporate and insolvency legislation and practices across a number of European and other possibly relevant jurisdictions
•Strong team member; flexible; ability to work independently; well organised; able to prioritise and meet deadlines; ability to work proactively in a team, help colleagues, provide direction
•Ability to work in a multicultural and international environment
