EPR Clinical Configuration Lead (Band 7) – Manchester
Salary – Circa £40,500
Reports to – EPR Team Leader

Hays Healthcare is delighted to be working with a leading North West Trust to assist in the recruitment of an EPR Clinical Configuration Lead. This position will be based in North Manchester.

Job Role / Key Accountabilities:

The post holder will use their clinical knowledge and experience to help in the design and configuration of EPR systems to support clinical care. Particular focus will be on the introduction of electronic forms and clinical information to ensure a comprehensive electronic record of patient information is built under the EPR.

Underpinning the above, the below, whilst not an exhaustive list, highlights some of the key responsibilities of the post:

· To take the lead to identify and interpret Trust/User and system clinical requirements in relation to the configuration of the EPR clinical applications.
· To act as clinical governance advisor to the project / programme manager.
· To inform the development of new systems in relation to current and future requirements
· To review and provide advice to the Trust with regard to clinical aspects of the EPR
· To lead on system configuration, supporting, facilitating and monitoring progress.

Person Specification:

Prospective applicants should be aware of the following prior to submitting their applications:

· To be a Registered Nurse or AHP professional
· Recognised management qualification (desirable)
· Proven management experience as a Nurse or AHP Manager / Team Leader, or similar role
· Significant health service management / clinical experience
· Experience of multi disciplinary working
· Excellent verbal / written communication skills
· Able to influence and manage change in a turbulent environment
· An awareness of current NHS issues and their wider implications
· Good organisational and analytical skills
· Full licence and use of car
