Credit Risk IT Regulatory Business Analyst recruitment

An interesting role has arisen within a leading Investment Bank who wish to comply with new SEC regulations around the management of capital. The ANC project is being implemented to drive the reduction and/or more efficient use of capital to reduce the RWA charge.

The role will be for a Business Analyst to work in IT, partnering with the business to understand the regulations and finding ways to either increase or change credit risk calculations to meet the regulations.

Ideally it would suit someone who is familiar with this standard and ideally who has worked on similar projects previously (most likely in an American Investment Bank). Deliverables would include:

• Conduct analysis to determine current state and synergies against Regulatory Requirements, along with incremental gaps
• Gather/document business requirements to address gaps
• Develop framework to test/validate end-to-end product process flows
• Work with SMEs and Technology to attain consolidated view of initiatives that can potentially be leveraged by ANC
• Produce BRD (Business Requirement Document) and associated / supporting project documentation
• Work with Functional Analyst to come up with the design and provide input to the Functional Specifications
• Desirable: Familiarity and/or experience with the ICAAP initiative and related efforts towards legal entity risk, liquidity and capital reporting.
