We are currently seeking a CRC to work onsite with the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda MD. Bethesda is in the Washington DC metro area. The contractor shall: 1. Develop and maintain up-to-date policies governing NHLBI support and conduct of research. 2. Coordinate with representatives from NHLBI divisions to develop standard operating procedures related to clinical research activities in accordance with NHLBI policies. 3. Provide meeting management support for Clinical Studies Oversight Committee (CSOC), and other pertinent committees, including developing agenda, taking meeting minutes and communicating with committee members. 4. Oversee the NHLBI Certificates of Confidentiality (COC) Program and review COC applications for NHLBI. 5. Develop effective project management tools for clinical research oversight. 6. Maintain NHLBI Clinical Research Guide websites. REQUIREMENTS. The contractor must have: 1. PhD with 2+ years experience in clinical research, project management, or healthcare education. OR 2. MS with 5+ years OR BS with 7+ years experience will be considered. 3. Sufficient science background is required to ensure familiarity with both medical terminology and the terminology of clinical research. 4. Familiarity with the principles of human subject protections. 5. Experience in the conduct and oversight of clinical research. 6. Experience and training in research ethics and creating programs or modules for instruction. 7. Experience with creating and modifying clinical SOPs and protocols. 8. Experience with Clinical data management, database operations and analysis. 9. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook). 10. Strong communications skills, both oral and written. 11. Excellent organizational and time management skills. 12. Expertise with SharePoint.
