With the development of the Global Banking business, they are looking to hire an experienced Credit Risk Manager to strengthen their China team in Shanghai.

Job Description

The Credit Risk Manager will be responsible for monitoring, management and reporting of customer positions including excesses, Assess credit risk ratings and limit structure of clients, Undertake risk analysis on new and existing transactions for customers primarily in Financial Institutions and with a particular focus on investment banking/ global markets and derivative products and Apply experience and knowledge of specific industry/product area with a view to minimizing the inherent risks to the bank and providing point of reference for colleagues for that sector/product. As a CRM, it is a must to apply experience and knowledge of specific industry/product area with a view to minimizing the inherent risks to the bank and providing point of reference for colleagues for that sector/product.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal Credit Risk Manager should have at least a financial related bachelor degree with at least 5-6 years banking working experience. You should also possess thorough banking knowledge especially on credit analysis and risk management. The experience in Commercial Banking is highly expected. As a Credit Risk Manager, it is also important to be proactive, problem solving style and has good communication with impact. Since it is a foreign bank, proficiency in English will also be a must in your daily work while you still need to be fluent in Chinese Mandarin as your clients will be local contacts.
