Credit Risk Officer, Commodities AVP recruitment
The client is a one of the world's leading financial institutions and due to a secondment in London they have a requirement for a Credit Officer within its Corporate Debt area, responsible for analysing and underwriting debt finance solutions and derivative strategies for large corporate clients in the global corporate/investment bank. More specifically this job sits within the natural resources team responsible for clients in the utility, oil gas and commodity trading sectors.
Integral to the team's purpose is to partner closely with the bank's risk management structure in order to effectively manage credit and market risks inherent in the corporate portfolio. In this job you will act as credit officer for a portfolio of clients, in particular commodity trading, co-ordinating the end-to-end credit process. This will entail client selection, underwriting, structuring and documentation. Crucial to success in the job is your capacity to manage the risk-reward equation and optimising client relationships.
