Credit Risk Reporting Analyst – VP recruitment
This position will be responsible for developing automated, routine reporting, automating existing manual reporting routines, and supporting ad-hoc requests for information and analysis by Risk Portfolio Managers and Executives in Europe. The successful candidate will have a proven background in reporting or analysis, strong written and verbal communication skills, SQL, database and reporting software skills, and a general understanding of Financial Institutions, Commercial Lending, Traded Products and Risk Management.
Responsibilities include:
- This position will provide an opportunity to expand SQL and Reporting technology skills while learning how Commercial Lending and Traded Products information is used to identify and manage risks to the portfolio and to the institution in a very fast-paced and exciting environment.
- Ownership of routine reporting ensuring that information is delivered on time, is accurate, and remains relevant to the business need.
- Automation of existing reporting routines, reducing the risk of manual error.
- Responding to requests for Ad-hoc information and analysis.
- Prioritizing requests for new reporting, report enhancements, and ad-hoc analysis.
Skills include:
- Must have strong SQL skills
- Financial industry background with general knowledge of traded products, commercial lending and risk management concepts.
- Solid analytical skills – must be able to learn how to navigate systems, access data, reconcile numbers from different sources, identify discrepancies and understand drivers of change within the data.
- Proven background in reporting or data analysis
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Working knowledge of derivatives (CE PE, collateral margining and composition, CVA and economic capital as it relates to CE and PE, sensitivities and stress testing) is a plus
- Experience with SQL Server Integration Services.
- Experience with Teradata, SQL Server, Sybase or other Database systems
